This is a personal portfolio. It keeps a little about each visit so I can see which pages get read and where the site fails people. Nothing here is sold, shared or used for advertising.
On your first visit the site sets a cookie called vidwith a random id and keeps it for up to 400 days, so a return visit counts as a return rather than a new person. Your address is stored only as a salted hash, used to slow down abuse of the chat, never to identify you.
Page views, how far down a page you got and how long you stayed are recorded against that id, along with clicks on project links and downloads. Vercel Analytics counts the same page views on its side.
Anything you say to Pixel, and what it replies, is saved for 30 days and then erased. A few conversations I have marked as worth keeping stay longer. If you tell Pixel your name it is kept with your visitor number and used to greet you next time; nothing else you type is treated as personal data. Pixel runs on Anthropic's Claude, so your messages are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply.
If you use the “ask Vidush” button, the question and any email you leave are mailed to me and kept until I have answered.
The card at /card/<number> shows a visitor number and a first-seen date to anyone with the link. A name you gave Pixel appears on it only in your own browser.
Write to vidush.gupta25@gmail.com with your visitor number (it is on your card) and I will delete the rows. Clearing the site's cookies gives you a new number.
